The special issue is a follow up of the International conference on transboundary catchment erosion and pollution problems, which was held in Belgrade, Serbia, in July 2023. The original review and research papers, dealing with water and sediment pollution and erosion problems in the World river catchments, including transboundary one, with a special focus on Balkan region water and Central Asia, are invited.
