The special issue of the GES journal "Regional Biodiversity Assessment and Ecosystem Health" is dedicated to the 23rd International Conference "Actual Problems of Ecology and Environmental Management" which will be held on April 21-23, 2022 at the Institute of Environmental Management of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University). Traditionally, scientists from universities and scientific organizations from many regions of Russia and foreign countries of Europe and Asia will take part in the conference. The issue will include selected papers containing the results of interdisciplinary research presented at the conference and related to the biodiversity conservation, bioindication, assessment of the state and sustainability of ecosystems under anthropogenic impact.
