SEASONAL MORTALITY PATTERNS DUE TO DISEASES OF THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM IN PORTUGAL
Abstract
Portugal, the vulnerability to seasonal cold weather remains as an important public health
issue. These findings suggest that the exposure to cold weather is an important determinant
of cardiovascular diseases that is still neglected in Portugal.
